Ingredients
Scale
2 bricks (16 ounces) cream cheese
1 packet (1.5 ounces) Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
5 flour tortillas
1/2 cup finely chopped ham
1/2 cup chopped green onion
Instructions
Begin by preparing the creamy filling for your Tortilla Pinwheels. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning Mix. Use a spatula to blend these ingredients together until smooth and well-incorporated, which should take about 3-5 minutes.
Next, it's time to spread the filling on the tortillas. Take a standard-sized flour tortilla and place it on a clean cutting board. Using a spatula, evenly spread a 1/4-inch layer of the cream cheese mixture across the entire surface of the tortilla, reaching all the way to the edges. Repeat this process for all five tortillas.
Add some flavor-packed fillings to each tortilla. Start with the first tortilla and evenly sprinkle a 1/2 cup of finely chopped ham over the cream cheese layer. Then, add chopped green onions for a fresh flavor. Feel free to customize and add more of your favorite ingredients.
Once your tortillas are filled, roll them up tightly from one edge, ensuring they remain wrapped well. Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down on a plate. After rolling all five, cover them with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
Finally, slice your chilled Tortilla Pinwheels into bite-sized pieces. Using a sharp knife, cut each roll into 1/2-inch thick wheels, which should produce delightful spirals. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure your cream cheese is softened fully for smooth blending.
Refrigerate the rolled-up tortillas for at least 1-2 hours before slicing.
Spread the cream cheese mixture all the way to the edges of the tortilla.
