Instructions

Dough Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Pour in warm water and melted butter. Stir until a shaggy dough forms, about 2-3 minutes.

Kneading

  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.

Roll Shaping

  • After rising, punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece and place mozzarella cheese in the center. Fold and seal tightly.

Second Rise

  • Place rolls seam-side down in a greased baking dish, cover with a cloth, and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic and chopped parsley, cooking until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Topping

  • Brush the baked rolls with garlic butter mixture immediately after removing from the oven. Serve warm.
