Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cranberries, orange zest, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
Cut the pastry into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
Place a spoonful of the filling at one end of each pastry strip.
Fold the pastry over the filling and press the edges to seal.
Brush the tops of each pastry straw with beaten egg.
Place the straws on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Best served warm. Can be enjoyed as a dessert or snack at any gathering.
