  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, chopped pecans, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and optional orange zest. Stir until well combined.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out your sheet of thawed puff pastry until smooth and flat.
  • Place the round of Brie cheese in the center of the rolled puff pastry.
  • Generously spoon the cranberry-pecan mixture over the top of the Brie.
  • Carefully fold the puff pastry over the Brie, tucking in the edges to completely enclose the cheese.
  • Transfer your wrapped Brie seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash. Brush this over the surface of the puff pastry.
  • Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle fresh herbs over your Cranberry Pecan Baked Brie for an added touch of elegance before serving.
