Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth.
Add grated smoked Gouda, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika. Incorporate the cooled onion and garlic.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and flatten.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Remove from oven, cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh chives.
Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
Notes
Best served warm. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
