Ingredients

For the Dip

  • 8 oz Smoked Gouda cheese shredded
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste

For the Garnish

  • 2 tablespoon Fresh chives chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth.
  • Add grated smoked Gouda, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika. Incorporate the cooled onion and garlic.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and flatten.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven, cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh chives.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

Best served warm. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
