Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper and butter.
Arrange the peach wedges in the pan, sprinkling with ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon.
Combine ¼ cup of water and ½ cup of sugar in a saucepan, cook undisturbed for about 10-15 minutes until light brown caramel. Add 1 tablespoon of bourbon and pour over peaches.
Cream together 8 tablespoons of butter and ¾ cup of sugar until fluffy. Gradually add eggs, then mix in vanilla and 2 tablespoons of bourbon.
