  • Melt the chocolate by heating 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Whip 1 cup of cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until fully combined.
  • In another bowl, combine 1 cup of strawberry puree, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, then whip until soft peaks form.
  • Layer chocolate mousse in serving glasses, adding about a third of the mousse per glass.
  • Add a layer of chocolate cake pieces on top of the mousse.
  • Spoon a generous layer of the strawberry mixture over the cake pieces, spreading evenly.
  • Repeat layering until glasses are nearly full, finishing with chocolate mousse on top.
