Instructions
Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Chai Tea Latte
In a medium saucepan, pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves or tea bags, ground ginger, ground cardamom, and ground cinnamon. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a heatproof container, removing solid spices and tea leaves.
Return the chai base to heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 cup of milk. Heat gently, stirring until warmed.
Taste and sweeten with sugar or sweetener to your preference, stirring until fully dissolved.
Pour into mugs and enjoy. Top with frothed milk if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, freeze without added milk. Mix in fresh milk after thawing to enhance taste.
