Instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Open the can of refrigerated crescent rolls and gently unroll the dough, laying it in a circular shape on the lined baking sheet.
Position the small wheel of Brie cheese in the center of your crescent ring.
Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the Brie, allowing some to trickle down onto the crescent dough.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts over the cranberry sauce if using.
Fold the triangles of the crescent dough over the filling, tucking the tips underneath the ring.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash and brush it over the top of the dough.
Place your prepared ring in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired.
Notes
For the best results, prepare ingredients ahead and ensure the dough points overlap for an even bake.
