Dough

  • 1 roll Crescent Roll Dough using this will give you that flaky, buttery base

Filling

  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach fresh is preferred
  • 1 cup Artichoke Hearts canned are convenient
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese provides a rich creaminess
  • ½ cup Sour Cream enhances creaminess
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese for classic flavor
  • ½ cup Cooked Bacon optional, adds savory boost
  • ¼ cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes elevate the taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs for garnish
  • ½ cup Other Cheeses such as feta or pepper jack

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the mini muffin tin cups.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into rounds. Press each round into the greased muffin tin cups.
  • Shape leftover dough scraps into bunny ears and bake them for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Bake the crescent bases for 8-10 minutes until golden and puffed. Create wells in each baked cup.
  • Mix together spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar cheese until smooth.
  • Spoon the creamy filling into each baked crescent cup and press one baked bunny ear on top.
  • Bake the filled Crescent Bites for another 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
