Ingredients

For the Burger Patties

  • 1 pound ground beef 80% lean, 20% fat

  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise creamy base
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard for tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup adds sweetness

Instructions

Grilling Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375-400°F (190-200°C). Allow to heat for about 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix gently and shape into 4 burger patties.
  • Place burger patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping once. In the last minute, add cheddar cheese and close the lid to melt.
  • While grilling, combine salad greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado, and dill pickles in a large bowl. Toss gently.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, ketchup, olive oil, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Remove burgers from grill and let rest for 2-3 minutes before assembling.
  • Divide the salad mixture among four bowls, then top with a grilled burger patty.
  • Drizzle the dressing over each burger bowl and serve immediately.
