Ingredients

For the Filling

  • 1 wheel Brie cheese soft and creamy
  • ½ cup Cranberry sauce sweet and tart
  • ¼ cup Chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh rosemary chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Honey drizzled on top

For the Pastry

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg Egg beaten for egg wash

For Seasoning

  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Garnish

  • 1 cup Fresh parsley or greens optional

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry until it's about ⅛ inch thick and cut it into a triangle.
  • Place the wheel of Brie cheese at the base of your puff pastry triangle.
  • Spread a layer of cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the Brie.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pecans over the cranberry sauce.
  • Add fresh chopped rosemary and drizzle honey over the filling, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold the edges of the puff pastry triangle over the filling and seal securely.
  • Brush the surface of the sealed puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  • Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley or greens before serving.
