Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast lean protein
  • ½ cup Teriyaki sauce for marinating
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil adds flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger freshly grated

For the Wraps

  • 4 pieces Tortilla wraps your favorite style
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce for crunch
  • 1 medium Carrot julienned
  • 2 stalks Green onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice into thin strips.
  • Warm the tortilla wraps in a dry skillet or microwave for about 20 seconds.
  • Lay a warmed tortilla flat, layer with shredded lettuce, julienned carrot, sliced green onion, and sliced chicken.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom.
  • Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately with extra teriyaki sauce.
