Preparation Steps
Place 9 cups of Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of smooth peanut butter, 1 cup of chocolate chips, and ½ cup of unsalted butter. Microwave and stir until melted and smooth.
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the melted mixture and stir thoroughly.
Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and fold until every piece is coated.
Transfer the coated cereal to a zip-top bag, add 2 cups of powdered sugar, and shake until coated.
Stir in 1 cup of M&M's and 1 cup of festive sprinkles into the sugar-coated cereal.
Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes.
Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
