Instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium skillet, melt ½ cup of cold butter over medium heat, then add flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Cream together ½ cup softened butter, ½ cup white sugar, and 1 cup dark brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Beat in 1 large egg, ¼ cup concentrated apple juice, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until just combined.
In another bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon ground allspice, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet combination until just combined.
Using a large cookie scoop, portion out 9 dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in your preheated oven for 12 minutes until lightly golden.
In a medium bowl, beat together ½ cup cream cheese and ½ cup butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar and caramel sauce.
Frost each cookie generously with the cream cheese frosting after they have cooled completely.
Top each frosted cookie with cubed Granny Smith apple and sprinkle with streusel.
Serve and enjoy with loved ones!
Notes
Ensure your butter is at the right temperature for best results. Cool cookies completely before frosting to prevent melting.
