Step-by-Step Instructions for Spider Pancakes
Begin by preparing your favorite pancakes, either homemade, from a mix, or frozen. Lay them out neatly on a large serving plate, allowing space between each pancake for easy decorating.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar with a few teaspoons of water. Stir until achieving a smooth, drizzling consistency.
Transfer the icing to a small sandwich zipper bag and seal it tightly. Snip off a tiny corner to create a makeshift piping bag. Drizzle the icing over the pancakes in a spiderweb pattern.
Once your spider web is complete, take a handful of fresh blackberries and gently place them on top of the icing, resembling the body of a spider.
Place the candy googly eyes atop each blackberry, securing them with a tiny dab of icing if needed.
Serve your Spider Pancakes immediately while they’re still warm and enjoy!
