Instructions
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Beat the egg whites on medium speed until foamy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Add cream of tartar and continue mixing until soft peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, mixing on high until stiff peaks form, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Mix in vanilla and almond extract until just combined.
Transfer meringue into a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
Pipe circles for the snowmen bodies and heads, and additional small circles for hats if desired.
Bake for about 2 hours or until completely dry.
Cool in the oven for an additional hour after baking.
Gently remove meringues from the parchment paper using a spatula.
Assemble snowmen by stacking heads on bodies.
Decorate with chocolate chips for eyes and orange candy for noses.
