Instructions
Baking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until incorporated and smooth.
Gently add in flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles evenly.
Scoop out dough, flatten it slightly, and place an Oreo in the center.
Fold the dough over the Oreo to seal and form a ball. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes, ensuring they are slightly underdone in the center.
Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top immediately after removing from the oven.
Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies. Room temperature ingredients help achieve a smoother dough.
