For the Dough

  • 1 pound Pizza dough

For the Cheese Mixture

  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese

For the Filling

  • 20 slices Pepperoni slices

For the Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Fresh basil leaves optional

For the Marinara Sauce

  • 1 cup Marinara sauce

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ⅛ inch thick and cut it into 12 strips.
  • Lay two slices of pepperoni end to end on each strip, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Roll up each filled strip to form a rose shape and place in the greased muffin cup.
  • Brush each rose with olive oil, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Cool for 5 minutes, then serve with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
