  • 1 package Keto-friendly saltine crackers essential for the perfect crispy foundation
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter provides a rich, buttery flavor
  • 1 cup Granulated erythritol a low-carb sweetener

For the Topping

  • 1 cup Sugar-free chocolate chips melts beautifully
  • ½ cup Chopped nuts walnuts, pecans, or almonds add crunch
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt balances the sweetness of the toffee

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and stir in the granulated erythritol. Bring to a boil for about 3 minutes.
  • Pour the caramel over the crackers, ensuring they are coated.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, watching closely until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer. Let them soften.
  • Gently spread the melted chocolate across the toffee layer.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts and sea salt over the chocolate layer.
  • Let cool completely, or refrigerate for 30 minutes to speed up the setting process.
  • Once set, break into pieces for serving and store in an airtight container.
