Ingredients

For the Cheese Sticks

  • 16 sticks Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 8 slices Bacon slices thick-cut preferred

For the Coating

  • 1 cup Almond flour low carb alternative
  • ½ cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

For Dipping

  • 1 cup Hot sauce

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each mozzarella stick in half to create 16 pieces.
  • Mix the almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  • Wrap each mozzarella stick half with a slice of bacon, ensuring full coverage.
  • Coat the bacon-wrapped sticks in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Arrange the coated sticks on the lined baking sheet with space between each.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbling.
  • Cool for a few minutes before serving with hot sauce.
