For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 12 pieces slider rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions for Pull-Apart Meatball Sliders

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, Italian herbs, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix until just combined and form into 12 meatballs.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook meatballs for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  • Cut slider rolls in half and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Spoon marinara sauce over the bottom halves.
  • Place cooked meatballs on marinara sauce and drizzle more sauce over them. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Brush over sliders.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with parsley before serving cold from the dish.

Notes

Allow sliders to cool for a few minutes after baking for easier slicing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
