Ingredients
8
oz
cream cheese
½
cup
unsalted butter
2
cups
powdered sugar
½
cup
freeze-dried raspberries
1
teaspoon
lemon zest
Instructions
Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl and set it aside.
Grind the freeze-dried raspberries into a fine crumb using a food processor.
Beat the softened unsalted butter on high speed for about 2 minutes until it becomes light and creamy.
Add the room temperature cream cheese to the butter and mix on high for 1 minute.
Incorporate half the sifted powdered sugar, mixing on low until just combined.
Mix in the remaining powdered sugar.
Fold in the ground freeze-dried raspberries and lemon zest. Mix on high until your frosting is creamy and beautifully tinted.
Notes
Ensure both butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easy mixing.
Start mixing on low after adding powdered sugar to prevent a sugary cloud.
Be careful not to over mix once all ingredients are combined.
Opt for high-quality freeze-dried raspberries for the best flavor.
Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge.
