  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • Slowly incorporate the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until bubbling. Remove from heat and whisk in the cornstarch until smooth.
