Instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions
Begin by rinsing the romaine lettuce leaves under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel, ensuring they’re crisp and ready.
In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Blend until smooth.
Take a romaine lettuce leaf and spread a layer of the mayonnaise mixture across it.
On top of the mayo-covered lettuce, place two slices of deli turkey, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese and one slice of bacon.
Thinly slice a tomato and an avocado. Place a few slices atop the ingredients and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Carefully roll the lettuce leaf around the fillings, folding in the sides as you go to create a neat wrap.
Notes
Romaine lettuce is best for wraps, as it’s sturdy enough to hold ingredients without tearing. Avoid softer greens like iceberg.
