Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip on medium speed for 3-5 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • In a shallow dish, dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee for 2-3 seconds and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
  • Spread the whipped mascarpone mixture over the coffee-soaked ladyfingers, approximately one inch thick.
  • Pour the strawberry puree over the mascarpone layer and spread evenly without disturbing the layer beneath.
  • Repeat the layering with soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone layer, and strawberry puree until you've created at least two complete layers, finishing with the mascarpone on top.
  • Cover tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and fresh strawberry slices, then slice and serve chilled.
