Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl and cream together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows until evenly dispersed.
Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
If using, sprinkle the crushed graham crackers on top of the dough balls before baking.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are slightly underbaked.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
