Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the beef ribs on all sides for about 4-5 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Remove the ribs and in the same pot, add tomato sauce, chipotle in adobo, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  • Return the seared beef ribs to the pot and coat them well with the sauce.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the oven. Cook for 3 to 4 hours until fork-tender.
  • Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve with sauce drizzled on top.
