Instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Brown the meatballs for about 6–8 minutes.
After browning, remove the meatballs from the skillet and pour in the marinara sauce, adding the meatballs back to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Slice each garlic bread roll in half horizontally and arrange them cut-side up on a baking sheet.
Place mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of each roll followed by a meatball and more cheese on top.
Bake the assembled rolls in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
Use lean beef for healthier bites and be careful not to overmix the meatball ingredients. Customize with toppings as desired.
