Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Slice the celery stick lengthways into quarters and cut them into 1 ½ - 2 inch sticks. Peel the clementines and insert a celery stick into the top of each to create a pumpkin stalk. Wrap in clingfilm and chill for at least 20 minutes.
  • Combine icing sugar and cold water in a bowl until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag and chill for about 10 minutes. Use to decorate the mini peppers, adding edible sugar eyeballs on top.
  • Lay the sweet mini peppers flat. Pipe two dots for eyes and place the eyeballs on top. Place in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  • Halve the cantaloupe and scoop out seeds. Cut into 1-inch cubes and alternate threading onto skewers with black grapes and marshmallows. Melt dark chocolate and pipe faces on marshmallows, then chill until set.
  • Prepare simple sandwiches using your chosen filling between two slices of bread. Use a ghost-shaped cutter to create ghost shapes. Store in a resealable bag and chill for about 30 minutes.
  • Peel bananas and cut into 2 ½ - 3 inch long pieces. Melt dark chocolate and pipe ghostly faces onto the banana pieces. Set in the refrigerator.
  • Slice apples into 1 cm thick rounds. Spread with peanut butter and stick mini marshmallows as 'teeth'. Top with another slice to create zombie mouths.
  • Assemble all treats attractively on a serving board, adding optional plastic spiders for festivity.
