Instructions
Preparation Steps
Begin by placing the pitted Medjool dates into a food processor, pulsing for about 2 minutes until they transform into a smooth, sticky paste.
Add the gluten-free rolled oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and peanuts to the processor. Blend for another 1-2 minutes until thoroughly combined.
Roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls to create roughly 16 energy balls.
While still sticky, gently press two candy eyeballs into the top of each ball.
Cut the licorice bars into thin strips and shape them as spider legs or bat wings.
Insert the licorice strips into the sides of each energy ball for decoration.
Place decorated energy balls onto a plate and chill in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
Notes
These energy balls are a fun, healthy treat for Halloween and can be customized with different decorations.
