Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Begin by placing the pitted Medjool dates into a food processor, pulsing for about 2 minutes until they transform into a smooth, sticky paste.
  • Add the gluten-free rolled oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and peanuts to the processor. Blend for another 1-2 minutes until thoroughly combined.
  • Roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls to create roughly 16 energy balls.
  • While still sticky, gently press two candy eyeballs into the top of each ball.
  • Cut the licorice bars into thin strips and shape them as spider legs or bat wings.
  • Insert the licorice strips into the sides of each energy ball for decoration.
  • Place decorated energy balls onto a plate and chill in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
