In a mixing bowl, combine diced pork or shrimp, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until evenly incorporated.
Take a wonton wrapper, place a small spoonful of the filling in the center, dampen the edges with water, fold, and seal firmly.
In a pot, bring chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Prepare wontons nearby.
