Instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef Ramen Noodles
Season the 2 pounds of beef chuck with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Place the beef chunks into the slow cooker.
Layer in 1 sliced onion, 4 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger over the beef. Gently press them down.
Pour in 4 cups of beef broth and 2 cups of water, followed by ¼ cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Stir carefully to combine.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Do not lift the lid during cooking.
About 10 minutes before serving, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the package of ramen noodles per package instructions. Drain them.
Stir in 2 cups of baby spinach into the slow cooker just before serving and allow to wilt.
Ladle the beef and broth over the prepared ramen noodles in bowls.
Top with sliced green onions, optional soft-boiled eggs, and Sriracha or chili oil if desired.
Notes
Season thoughtfully and avoid lifting the slow cooker lid during cooking for best results.
