Instructions
Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Air Fryer Crispy Onions
Peel and slice the medium onion into thin, even rings, aiming for about ¼-inch thickness.
Prepare three separate bowls: one with flour, one with the whisked large egg, and one with breadcrumbs.
Dip each onion ring into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange the coated onion rings in a single layer.
Air fry the onion rings for about 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Transfer the cooked onion rings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for up to 2 months.
