  • 32 ounces Frozen Diced Potatoes No peeling or chopping needed
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup Can substitute with cream of chicken
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese To create a gooey topping
  • 1 medium Finely Chopped Onion Optional

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Mix the cooked beef, frozen potatoes, and cream of mushroom soup together in a bowl until well-coated.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth out the top.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake in the oven for 40–45 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Drain excess fat from beef after browning. For a crispy top, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking.
