Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and rice vinegar to make the glaze.
  • Place cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the cod fillets with the prepared ginger soy glaze evenly.
  • Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
  • While baking, chop green onions and toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for 3-4 minutes.
  • Once baked, garnish the cod with green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
  • Serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
