Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and shape into a disc about 1-inch thick.
Cut the disc into 8 equal wedges and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the scones for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
