Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Unwrap the crescent dough and cut half of the package into thin strips approximately ¼ inch wide.
  • Wrap one to two strips of the dough around each meatball, holding one end in place while stretching the dough.
  • Continue wrapping all remaining meatballs, adding more layers for a thicker bandage look if desired.
  • Place the wrapped meatballs on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cut out small circles from the pepperoni to create the eyes.
  • Attach two pepperoni eyes on each mummy using a dab of sauce or water.
  • Serve warm on a platter or on pasta, paired with your favorite dipping sauce.
